Please read this agreement carefully before accessing or using this website or receiving lessons from a VoxTape Studios teacher. By accessing or using the services, you agree to be bound by this agreement. The information and services on this site are provided by Lara Chapman Music, LLC. and its suppliers, subject to your agreement to the terms and conditions below.

Use Of Information And Services

The staff of VoxTape Studios and its users create the majority of the content on this site. The information (including without limitation advice and recommendations) and services on the site are intended solely as a general educational aid. VoxTape Studios assumes no responsibility for any consequence relating directly or indirectly to any action or inaction you take based on the information, services or other material on this site.

While VoxTape Studios strives to keep the information on this site accurate, complete, and up-to-date, VoxTape Studios and its suppliers cannot guarantee, and will not be responsible for any injuries, damage, or loss related to, the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information.

Definition of Services

Subscription Services

Any VoxTape Studios member who subscribes to one of the following memberships, Green Room Membership or Private Lessons Membership, shall have access to the Members Only Portal and community. Additional benefits of each membership are listed below.

Green Room Membership

Users who subscribe to the Green Room Membership shall receive access to the VTS exclusive community, some of the VTS online courses, exercises and live streams hosted by VoxTape Studios.

Private Lessons Membership

Users who subscribe to the Private Lessons Membership shall receive a total of 48 lessons in a year, nominally spread out as 4 lessons per month. All of these lessons will be provided by a VoxTape Studios teacher other than Lara Chapman. Users who subscribe to the Private Lessons Membership shall receive access to the Green Room Membership for as long as they are taking private lessons.

Subscription Terms

All new students must commit to at least three months of lessons (those can be billed monthly or paid up front). After the first initial three months of lessons, students may cancel their subscriptions at the end of each billing period each month. Each subscription is charged a monthly rate that is listed on VoxTape Studios Website that is liable to change from time to time at VoxTape Studios sole discretion. This monthly subscription will automatically renew on the date of original purchase, for example a monthly subscription that was purchased on the 12th of August will renew automatically, and the credit card on file will be charged on September 12th. Special cases of February renewals that have a renewal date after the 28th of the month shall automatically renew on February 28th for that month and resume their typical date thereafter.

Cancellations of Membership

Monthly Memberships may be canceled before their renewal date. Memberships may be cancelled through the Member Portal online or via email to [email protected]. For the avoidance of doubt, if a membership is to renew on the 9th of the month, the member must cancel through the portal or send a cancellation email to [email protected] no later than 23:59 (11:59PM) on the 8th of that month. Members who cancel their membership after this cutoff time will have their memberships cancelled the following month. In this subscription model all memberships are billed on a prepaid basis, that is upon a billing event, a credit card being charged, the purchase is final and the subscription is automatically initiated for the following month. Users may cancel at any time but shall have access to the benefits of their membership subscription through the next billing event.

Rescheduling of Lessons

VoxTape Studios individual lessons are scheduled in advance to ensure availability of both teachers and students. Any individual lessons are scheduled to be on a particular day of the week at a particular time. Once agreed upon, the date and time of a lesson slot for all upcoming lessons may not be changed. A student may request a change of their time slot every 4 months. Students who cannot make their assigned lesson slot are entitled to reschedule 1 lesson every 4 months. Availability of time slots is on a first come first serve basis, VoxTape Studios does not guarantee the availability of any particular time slot and may at any time remove a time slot from future or ongoing lessons. Any student who has a time slot that is removed shall be given the option of selecting another that is available.

VoxTape Studios live streams are scheduled in advance to ensure availability of the teachers and ample time for registration by the students. Students under an active membership that entitle them to live stream access may register online for these classes. Members who register for and do not attend the live stream may have their access to class registration removed at the sole discretion of VoxTape Studios. This is to ensure that the available seats for these classes are utilized by students that are in attendance.

Trial Lesson Pass

Trial lesson passes are single use passes that allow access to a single private lesson. These passes are for new users ONLY and can only be purchased once per lifetime. The purchase of this pass allows a user to reserve a spot in a private lesson and attend said lesson. No other benefits are provided to these passes. If a user utilizes a single-use pass to register for a lesson and wishes to reschedule for a different lesson time slot, they must do so at least 48 hours prior to the start of the class. If a user does not attend a lesson and fails to reschedule 48 hours in advance, the user forfeits the purchased pass and is not entitled to register for another lesson without purchasing an additional pass. All Trial Lesson Pass purchases are final, no refunds will be issued regardless of the utilization of the pass or attendance in a lesson.

This copyrighted material includes all writing by staff, video lessons, and some of the artwork, drawings and logos. You may print out any articles and activities for your personal use only.

Users who post materials to this site and/or the official members-only community agree to abide by the following rules: (1) users may not post or transmit material that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, harmful, threatening, abusive or hateful, that violates the property rights of others (including without limitation infringing use of a copyright or trademark), that violates the privacy or publicity right of others, or that is in violation of applicable laws; (2) users may not interfere with other user’s use and enjoyment of this site; (3) users may not use this site to conduct any activity that is illegal or that violates the rights of others; (4) users may not use this site to advertise or sell products or services to others; and (5) users must immediately inform VoxTape Studios if they have reason to believe that a user is infringing any copyrighted materials. A user posting material represents that such material is unique to the user or used with permission of the copyright holder, and assigns to VoxTape Studios ownership of such material. VoxTape Studios has no responsibility for the content of any material posted by users, but VoxTape Studios reserves the right in its sole discretion to (i) edit or delete any documents, information or other material submitted to or appearing on this site, and (ii) refuse access to the site to any user that violates this agreement. The community and chat rooms contain the opinions and views of other users. Proprietary Rights

All materials on this site (as well as the organization and layout of the site) are owned by Lara Chapman Music, LLC. and may be accessed, downloaded or printed for your personal non-commercial use only. Without the prior written permission of VoxTape Studios or its suppliers, you may not copy, distribute or transfer any material on this site, in whole or in part.

Changes To Site

VoxTape Studios and its suppliers may make improvements or changes in the information, services, products, and other materials on this site, or terminate this site, at any time without notice. VoxTape Studios may modify this agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified agreement. Accordingly, you agree to review the agreement periodically, and your continued access or use of this site shall be deemed your acceptance of the modified agreement.

Restriction of Liability

VoxTape Studios makes no claims, promises or guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or adequacy of the contents of its resources and expressly disclaims liability for errors and omissions in the contents therein.

Miscellaneous

This agreement and the resolution of any dispute related to this agreement or the site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indiana, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. VoxTape Studios’ failure to insist upon strict enforcement of any provision of this agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Any legal action or proceeding between VoxTape Studios and you related to this agreement shall be brought exclusively in a federal or state court of competent jurisdiction venue in Indiana.
