Does this sound familiar?
You're bored of doing the same exercises over and over again...
You're struggling to apply what you're learning in exercises in your songs...
You're not sure which exercises you should be practicing...
I felt exactly the same way when I first started with vocal training and when I saw that virtually all of my students struggled with that as well I knew I needed to do something about this because after all...
No Practice = No Progress!
So I created Pop Song Exercises - vocal exercises that are inspired by contemporary songs to make practicing more fun and to make the translation between vocal exercise and song easier.
Needless to say, people fell in love. Thanks to the Pop Song Exercises I grew and audience of over 1 MILLION people across social media platforms.
Over the years I have created more than 60 different Pop Song Exercises workin on all different areas of the voice so that you can have a well rounded voice and actually enjoy practicing.
Now you can get my ENTIRE library that includes:
Example tracks to make sure you're doing the exercises right
Instrumental tracks so that you can focus on your own voice
High and low keys so that the exercises all fit your voice and range
Worksheets to remind you what to pay attention to and note taking
And get LIFETIME access to everything!
Please note: The exercise tracks are NOT downloadable to protect us against illegal distribution. But you can always access all the exercises through our site and app.
Before we do any vocal acrobatics, let's make sure you've got all the basics like breathing, warming up, SOVT, and more covered so we don't run into issues later.
This is where you'll learn more about chest voice, head voice, mix voice, whistle and vocal fry in addition to the different voice types (soprano, baritone, etc).
Not happy with the tone of your voice? Maybe some told you that you sound nasally when you sing or too breathy. Tone can be adjusted and I'll show you how!
How doesn't want to learn how to belt, right?! Let me teach you how to sing with tons of power without tiring yourself out or accidentally hurting your beautiful instrument.
Now let's spice it up! Learn more about tools like riffing, vibrato, distortion, scooping, yodeling and much more to make your songs come to life.
Sweet Baby Jesus is there a TON of information online! 🤯
That's so cool, don't you think? Like never in history could you learn literally anything you wanted in a matter of minutes!
Unfortunately, this information overload can also come with some downsides... You're getting pulled into all different kids of directions so you end up not really doing anything because there are too many different things to do!
Or you don't really know what's right and what's wrong because there are so many contradicting statements being made... Can you really support from the diaphragm or not? That's a big one!
You are not the only one who's confused and/or conflicted. That's why I created the Complete Contemporary Voice Guide so that you can follow a step-by-step guide covering ALL techniques and exercises you need for contemporary singing.
That way you don't have to be worried that you're missing important information and you're not getting pulled into 10 different directions, but rather you can focus on just one route and see tons of progress there.
Who said that vocal exercises need to be boring? The Pop Song Exercises are designed to make practice fun and effective by making it easier to bridge the gap between exercises and songs.
Please note: The exercise tracks are NOT downloadable to protect us against illegal distribution. But you can always access all the exercises through our site and app.
VTS student and lead singer Billy from Billy & The Kidz went from barely opening her mouth singing a Bruno Mars song in her first lesson to finding her rock style, forming a band and going on tour. The highlight of their tour was playing the iconic Viper Room in Hollywood where the audience was singing their original songs back at them. The VTS team was pumped to travel across the US to be with Billy as she jumped into the professional music scene together with her band and their awesome original songs.
Izzy started her lessons with us in her senior year of High School and decided to pursue music full time for one year after graduating. After putting her heart, sweat and tears into her music, by the end of that summer she was signed to Rude Records. This milestone allowed her to continue her music career and have the opportunity to get her songs from demo tapes onto major platforms. At only 19 years old she is able to confidently follow her passions as a full time musician.
Reeta was not new to participating in singing competitions and though she placed pretty well throughout, she wanted to get to the top. Her lifestyle as a busy working mom didn't hold her back from putting in the work. With the help of VoxTape Studios her hard work paid off! Now she is consistently placing at the top of the competitions she's participating in and wowing her audience every time. She also joined a band as their lead singer and performs with them regularly.
