Hi! I’m Lara Chapman and I’m an award winning singer and songwriter turned viral vocal- and songwriting coach. While singing has always been my main passion, I quickly realized that being able to write my own songs was going to be crucial if I want to have a career in music. But this necessity quickly turned into a great way for me to explore my own sound, find my true voice and tell my own stories.
But trust me when I tell you that the first couple of songs I wrote were... There’s no other way to put it - they were bad haha! But that’s because at 13 years old I had no idea what I was doing... I had no framework or guidance.
Over the years of studying songwriting at the Berklee College of Music, being in the room with pro writers in Nashville, TN and teaching others how to write songs, I have developed a framework to make the songwriting process as easy as possible.
